- Our names are Jessica and Leigh. We’re two multimedia journalists, fresh out of graduate school, with penchants for adventure and the tools to tell travel tales. As visual storytellers, we want to revolutionize the way people consume travel media. The look and feel of the travel journalism industry are changing, so we’ve created a webisode format in answer to the online movement. Our personality-driven webisodes take viewers to faraway places. We explore the smells, sounds, and tastes of culture, and communicate these sensory experiences by using the intimate dialogue inherent to web use. We are “backpack journalists.” This means we host, shoot, write, edit, and produce our own content. Not only is this efficient, but we have complete creative control of the process so our final product reflects our travel experience. We're excited to explore the world, camera-in-tow, and to thrust travel journalism into the future.
